Community Service Officers

As civilian employees of the Police Department, Community Service Officers (CSO) are an integral part of the Carlisle Police department. CSO's are tasked with a wide variety of duties including but not limited to animal complaints, parking enforcement, administrative jobs, finger printing, abandoned vehicle issues, and vehicle lock-outs.

CSO's also work with diverse groups, provide training, analyze administrative problems, and maintain records. This position is one of high customer service and public contact, and also requires excellent computer skills and the ability to work independently. Employees in this classification are required to wear an issued uniform.
